Eco-Plantations Raw material suppliers of Mercury begin by developing sustainably managed eco-plantations in desolate, degraded areas that help protect surrounding conservation forests and nature reserves. |
Reforestation Saplings are planted to turn degraded areas into productive land that also provides protected wildlife refuge areas for endangered animals. |
Nurture Through community-based land stewardship programs, local communities are taught how to protect and nurture these saplings until they are mature and ready for harvest. |
Harvest Once saplings have matured, they are carefully harvested to maintain a balanced eco-system while providing high-quality pulp for paper mills. |
Replanting To ensure a continued ecological balance, currently three more saplings are planted for every crop harvested. This means 1.5 million trees are planted every day! |
Production Once selected crops are harvested and three more saplings are planted, raw materials are shipped to various markets. Local converting facilities transform them into naturally white, naturally hygienic paper products that come from thee renewable fiber sources. |
Customers Our naturally soft, sustainable and renewable virgin fiber products are delivered to customers for their use and enjoyment. |
Recycling Not only are we committed to replanting and replenishing the Earth, we recycle left-over pulp and paper from our manufacturing plants for use in our packaging and other recycled materials. |
